What it is
Mixed media combines materials and procedures from different traditions in one artwork: the speed of acrylic and the depth of oil.
Materials I use
- Acrylic as the structural and color base.
- Oil in final glazes for depth.
- Gold leaf in accents of light.
Process
Each layer demands respect for the basic rule: fat materials always over lean ones. That's why acrylic and textures come first, and oil and finishes last.
